HHO: The Gift That Keeps On Giving

Technical Update 12-2-08:

I was driving my car on the highway yesterday and realized that I never sent out a recap of the Hydrogen USA Tour which we just completed. Nor did I mention to you all some of the wonderful new updates and discoveries that we are implementing.

Okay, so the tour started in LA on 10-27-08. We drove to Bakersfield CA, Fresno, Portland OR, Reno NV, Phoenix NV, Albuquerque NM, Arlington TX, Kenner LA, Tampa FL, Clearwater, then Bradenton FL. We held events in each city along the way and covered a total of 8,000 miles!

The best part of this adventure was meeting thousands of people who have had great success with water as fuel, or hydrogen on demand, seeing all the various iterations of 'hydrogen-from-water' systems, and hearing all the success stories. The highlights?

- We found many new products that will make the consumer market crack wide open. Very soon everyday people will be able to shop and learn and get full service for not only their vehicles, but for their home-heating needs, stationary engines and many other forms of renewable energy.

- Real vehicle computer solutions that work. I tried the AERO Box from Green Gas LLC, headed by Julio Figueroa along with a hydrogen generator, and my 2002 BMW 325i jumped from 30mpg highway to 42mpg highway. And the exhaust is smelling clean and the engine is smooth as glass!

- Clean, healthy 'charged' drinking water. We heard many success stories of people 'charging' their drinking water with HHO. The benefits are not documented much in big books, but are all over the internet. From bringing dying pets back to life to clearing up skin and even losing weight, the benefits of HHO charged water are there to see and have...for free!

- This may be the sappy 'Relationship-type' personality in me, but I really am proud and thankful for all the wonderful people we met and are building relationships with. Pushing a movement forward is far from easy. But it's well worth the pride and sense of gratitude for humanity when you see the difference we are making.I just feel sorry for the non-believers and nay-sayers who just mock and sneer at anything good. They will rot quietly in their secluded lonely lives while the pioneers pave the way for future generations.

Thanks for following us. Check out Water4Gas.com for more updates and we'll post more news soon.....

Final day at HHO Games

Well Folks, after 4 long days of learning, meeting, greeting and networking, we survived the HHO Games in Palmetto, FL! (Yaaaayyyy!)

Today was a magical day culminating 3 days of hard work into a perfect ending. We started with a good breakfast at Cracker Barrel and then headed down to the Manatee Technical Institute in Bradenton.

At 10am we started the "round table" panel with Michael Lombardi, Zero Fossil Fuels, Larry Jarbo and Professor Cliff Ricketts. Prof. Ricketts has been researching and working with hydrogen since the 1970s. In fact, all 4 panel speakers have been involved in alternative energy since the '70s and thus were chosen as the most qualified for Q&A from the audience.

Most of it was good, until it started getting way too technical and honestly, out of our scope. But we learned a lot and I took very good notes.

The best part of the day was the final networking we did with the pros that won the awards. It was like we were family after 4 days. There was definitely some bonding that happened here.

Okay, enough with the sappy stuff......I just miss Chelsea like crazy. Can't wait to get home!

The winners:

Most Innovative HHO System:
Mr. Bruce Wycoff - FireWater Fuel Cells

Best Kit:
James Watkins Most Promising New Kit:Green Hybrid Systems of Chicago, IL

Best EFIE (Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer):
Julio and Effrain from Green Gas Solutions, with their "Aero Box", which I'll be installing on my BMW when I get home.

Best Installation:
Ralph Grugar from Mileage Seekers HHO

and (drum roll....)

THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER IS.....

JIM TARANTOLA & HIGH PERFORMANCE FUEL CELLS, INC!

Jim and Ozzie and I (with Todd, his installer) all talked at length with Michael Lombardi and Julio from Green Gas Solutions. Our 4 companies will be working together to make some big advancements and with Water4Gas, they will have big backing!

Now I can come home to my beautiful Chelsea and all my friends whom I miss. I want to get to work and make life happen for everyone!

Love,
Ari

Day 3 of HHO Games

The winner of the HHO Games "Best Innovative HHO System" was announced today at 10am at the Manatee County Fairgrounds. Jim Tarantola of High Performance Fuel Cells gave Joe Shae a giant bear hug when he was announced in front of 50 or so vendors. Jim and his crew have come to the Games from several states to show their innovative hydrogen generators and other applications.

Jim's basic cell design is more complex than most of the cells we've seen, yet still easy enough for the layperson to install or at least understand and operate. In fact, it doesn't need to be maintained nearly as much as any system we've seen.

Jim starts with a series of stainless steel plates placed one after the other, back to back. Between each plate is a high-quality gasket to prevent leaking. At both ends (see the pic) are thick, transparent plastic with heavy duty bolts that hold the cell together. Then he wraps the plates with a protective coating to keep them insulated. This "exposed plate" design is great, as it keeps the electrolyte flowing through the cell and back into a reservoir that also acts as a bubbler. The electrolyte is sucked through a water pump, into the cell where it turns into HHO and then pushed with the remaining water into the bubbler. At the top of the bubbler is another hose that vents the HHO into the engine.

Our system was placed in the trunk as there was no space under the hood. Jim also included a cooling fan that keeps the unit under 100 degrees Fahrenheit and a digital temperature gauge. In the cockpit is a pulse width modulator which can be varied to increase or decrease the frequency and thus the output of the cell. We have it currently set on 75% maximum output.

Sound confusing? This is for consumers who want a professional system. Jim and his crew claim an average of 35-50% increases with no modifications to the ECU. Why? Simple. Using the PWM, they can "dial in" the right amount of HHO production and by simply smelling the exhaust, they can find the "perfect" ratio of HHO to fuel. This keeps the HHO production within the limitations and parameters of the ECU and doesn't throw any codes. The result is an efficient, maintenance-free fuel cell that looks nice enough to show to NASA.

I am in no way telling you to get this product, as we haven't even tested it yet. But our job is to help people learn about this stuff. If we like it over the long-haul back to LA, we'll promote Jim's company on our website along with others we see as professionals who meet our qualifications. If you want to see what those qualifications are, check out Water4Gas.com.

During the time that Ozzie was working with Jim on the install, I was attending a seminar hosted by Bill and Tom Lang of Gulf Laboratories. The title of this seminar was, "HHO, the history". It was quite fun and it ended with Joe Shae asking me to tell how Water4Gas become the number 1 water-fuel promoter in the world.

Tomorrow is the last day of the HHO Games. We will be attending one final "round table" panel of pro's at the Manatee Technical Institute for a 6-hour seminar and then wrap up the day with a meeting with High Performance Fuel Cells to talk about expansion and getting them up and running.

Day 2 of HHO Games

Wow, today was quite an experience of unity and camaraderie. Many professionals met for two 3-hour seminars: "HHO and Patent Law" and "Controlling the ECU".

The first seminar was boring but needed. There are a lot of people in this industry now that consider themselves professionals and want to expand into a full-fledged business. It's important to understand patents and how they work.

The second seminar was awesome! I learned a lot of tech stuff that I was not clear on regarding the ECU (Electronic Control Unit, or on-board computers) on cars. We all have a lot of work to do, but there are some major movements forwarding the ideal scene which is complete acceptance of HHO from the ECU.

I purchased a unit that I will test on my BMW when I get back home and see if it works like I think it will. Nevertheless, we had a jam-packed day of learning and of course more teaching too. I talked to many more newcomers--even at the hotel and the local restaurant.

Some more good news: The HHO Games was featured in the local newspaper today! Check out the article here:

See you tomorrow!

Day 1 of HHO Games

Whew, what a day!

We got up at 6am and made it down to the Manatee Fairgrounds by 7:30am. Although we were not the first to arrive, we got a great spot to park our Jetta under a huge outside tent that is permanently set up for trade shows, swap meets, etc. There were over 2300 people there and probably close to 50 vendors. It was like a giant "Mecca" event, with 10 times the energy.

While we were setting up for our presentation, many vendors were already busy demonstrating their hydrogen generators and fuel-saving products to hundreds of visitors.

At 10am Sean Thau was introduced by Joe Shae and did a great job selling the dream of the industry and our mission to lead the water-fuel movement and help other businesses grow. I talked for a few minutes then brought up Ozzie who continued to explain our role.

We spent the afternoon meeting many vendors and talking tech with tons of people. Ozzie and I talked to so many vendors and water-fuel / hydrogen gurus that my head is still spinning! We even saw a seminar from a famous YouTuber who has over 150 videos that show people how hydrogen on demand works!

The best part was gathering identities and seeing all the new tech stuff that we had not seen before. There is still a lot to digest but we found some great things that we are excited to follow up on.

After the show we went out for pizza and met up with about 10 others and talked for hours about the new inventions and the way of the future for our vital industry.

Tomorrow is another day and more to come!
