The Biggest Little City....

Thursday, Oct. 30 - "The Biggest Little City in the World."

We spent most of today prepping for the event tonight. Catching up on email, working with the web designer, etc.

At 6:30 we arrived to the Atlantis Hotel & Casino in Reno to set up for our event with SierraH2OHybrid. After getting lost in the miriad of slot machines, cigarette smoke and drunken zombies, we made it up to the 2nd floor Grand Ball Room --- a misnomer for a nice meeting room, replete with presentation tables, chairs and chilled water for the guests.

Sarah Grigg of Sierra H2O Hybrid was amazing. She and her husband, Kenny set up the whole event and with the help of our wonderful Dissemination Team, got many people to the venue. Sarah opened up with a warm introduction and Ozzie then came up to speak for few minutes about the direction of the Water-Fuel industry and our role in it. He then brought me (Ari) up to shoot my mouth off for half an hour about the Movement, the Master Affiliate Program, and of course the technical side of Water4Gas.

After the guests signed our pre-registration forms, we all headed back through the Chuck-e-Cheese-like casino to the front of the beautiful building where our hydrogen-hybrid chariots awaited a live demo. There were 4 vehicles in total, including our Jetta, Kenny's Dodge Ram Hemi, Josh's 1992 Camaro and Jerry Young's Kentworth big rig.

The crowds went nuts over these vehicles and having our cars on display directly in front of the hotel entrance was like stepping out of a limousine on Hollywood Blvd in front of the Mann's Chinese Theater at the premier of our new blockbuster movie! Bellboys, valet workers, casino guests and hotel managers all stopped to ask questions and get a glimpse of the magical hybrid vehicles under the flashing casino lights.

We especially liked Jerry Young's big rig. He installed a "6-pack" of electrolyzers to his Kentworth, saving him $300 per week in diesel fuel! He's been on a mission to help other truckers and get this technology out to the world.

All in all, it was a fantastic evening of enlightenment, laughs and new friendships formed.

Friday, Oct. 31 - "The Halloween Hydrogen Haunt"

Today was more of a transit day, as we spent all of it in the car driving from Reno to Phoenix, Arizona. Definitely not as pretty a drive as Oregon, but interesting enough. Of course we had our usual questions at the gas stations and eateries as we drove though Death Valley. It was interesting how many abandoned buildings and ghost-towns are still around on Highway 95.
It's like jumping back in time about 50 years!

As I type, we are about 100 miles away from Phoenix where we'll be meeting up with some long-term friends of Ozzie's and talking biz about the new expansion plans. Tomorrow we have a jam-packed day o' fun when we meet up with Art Mobley and his crew at the local Phoenix radio station to have lunch. I'll fill you in on the details later.

Signing off for tonight! - Ari
